It doesn't really matter who he is playing, his matches are usually long and close. Very tough to win 7 matches in a row like that.
|
Yes, he just needs to play as he did vs Murray in Tokyo, aggressive returning and consistent, powerful play from the baseline.

Right now,he is in a similar spot like Isner.Regardless of the opponent he faces,he will have to play lots of close sets with TB`s and plenty of 4 or 5 setters from the first few rounds.

Yep, especially if they face someone with a good serve- the Isner Anderson match went the distance here too

I really can mug it up sometimes
Yes, he broke 2 times today. But in general, his matches at slams are long serve marathons until he gets tired and loses before the second week. He might win a masters event one day, but no slam.

He's 21 years old and in spite of a lot of holes in his game, he's #14 in the world. Once he starts to fill in the holes he's going to make a lot of people eat their words.

Tennis saved.
It is always a nice day when this servebot loses.

Was Raonic's pyrrhic victory over Murray really worth it?
Yes, this Slamray can be beaten, it can be done, but Raonic had to put every ounce of his heart and soul into it.... leaving him ripe for fellas like Baggy. He'll possibly never be the same again.

Don't worry, Roger will smash Pushray into submission on a proper (somewhat) fast court in a few days time and will teach his buttbuddy another lesson the next day.

Didn't they play on this court in 2010? Did Roger smash Slamray into submission that day?
I forget the score you see. What was it again?

They played on the court that was moved from Australia. Mugray's luck is out as Shanghai were forced to switch to a proper tennis court to lure the GOAT back to their tournament.
