Shanghai SF: Murray routines Federer 6-4 6-4
Fed was so bad today. Couldn't serve, couldn't return. Awful really.
Gifted the 1st set with 3 DFs in a row. In the 2nd set got broken in a game he was 40-0.
Wasn't even close to breaking Murray apart from Murray's 1st service game which he broke. I think it was Fed's only BP of the match. 
Only thing Fed did well today was winning the best point of the match.
I think if he wasn't going for the 300 weeks record, he would have skipped this tournament. Looked out of sorts all week long.

Fed played his worst tournament match and got what he deserved for the error-rich serve he displayed today. Murray was far from brilliant, but he took great advantage of Fed's weak mental state and outlasted him with some good defense. His serve was very good though, his precision is increasing.

Murray too good today. Federer pretty bad. Oh well, 300 weeks are secure, that was the goal of this tournament.

Fed was subpar all week so no real surprises. Murray was decent.
Some patches of good tennis, but nothing like you'd want from them on the whole.

This was one of the worst matches I've ever seen Federer play. Back in 2004 when he was at his best, I never thought I'd see the day where these performances became a reality!

This now means that if Djokovic wins Shanghai tomorrow that only 195 points separate Rogie and Djokovic for #1. It also means that if Djokovic wins tomorrow, that Rogie will have to win Basel outright to keep his #1 ranking (195 points difference, and losing Basel even in the F means minus 200 points and Djokovic would be in first by a whopping 5 points and don't forget who is playing in Basel, Murray).
