Re: Tokyo final: Raonic vs Nishikori?
Milos will probably disappoint here like he did in Memphis and still will be without a 500 title.
Nishikori in 2, 7-6(5) 7-5

Re: Tokyo final: Raonic vs Nishikori?
Kei on the surface looks to be tough for Milos, as he's playing well, but I'm going to say that his form will drop in the final with the home pressure, Milos doesn't usually lose to pushers anyway, Milos in 3.

Raonic in two sets, smth like 6-3, 7-6. No way Kei will break him.

Re: Tokyo final: Raonic vs Nishikori?
For the sake of tennis, hope Kei wins. Raonic should not be winning a 500.

I hope the crowd really gets involved here. This could be such a big story in Japan.

Re: Tokyo final: Raonic vs Nishikori?
Tough one, Nishikori seems to be in fantastic form, he was getting a lof of serves back in Berdych´s match, so if he will do it vs Milos it will be hard for Milos if he will be moved lef - right like Berdych was. Howewer Milos has bigger 1st serve, so maybe he will just hit through him and also he has 2nd kick serve which can be effectvie with shorter guy like Nishikori. Hard to tell both are playing fantastic, Nishikori is playing agressive fast tennis, not missing much and Milos besides serving great is also playing some good baseline offensive tennis this week and is hitting powerfull groundstrokes. Milos should look on tape how Tomas failed and learn from this

Re: Tokyo final: Raonic vs Nishikori?
Two keys to this match:
1) Milos's mental strength - he's been good this week coping with pressure moments, and will need to be again as he closes on the biggest title so far. If he copes, he has a great chance.
2) Kei's returning. Kei has virtually no record against huge servers. 0-0 vs Isner, 0-0 vs Milos, 0-1 vs Ivo (DC this year, straight sets Karlovic). If he can get on some Raonic first serves (or Milos serves a poor first serve %), then Kei has the ground game and confidence right now to find a way through. If Kei can't handle the heat of the serve, he's in trouble.
I'm calling this Raonic 76 64.

I expect Raonic to win, but hope Kei to win in front of his home crowd.

Re: WWW: Tokyo final: Raonic vs Nishikori?
Gun to see an all-youngster matchup in a fairly big tournament.
Raonic has been really mentally tough this tournament, but Kei's got the home ground advantage. I need a think about this.

Re: WWW: Tokyo final: Raonic vs Nishikori?
If Milos plays anywhere close to as dominantly as he did today, serves well, and commits to come forward instead of push with Nishikori, he will win this match. While he's playing great, Nishikori simply doesn't have the same kind of powerful weapons that Milos does. I also see the pressure as being all on Kei tomorrow to win at home. That can be a tougher thing to deal with than people think. Milos in 3.
