Redbull Stratos Skydive
This guy is skydiving from the stratosphere, from 120 000 feet.
Will break the record for longest skydive when he does, also supposed to become the first person to break the sound barrier without the use of a machine propelling him.
With the use of a balloon the size of a 55 story building it will take him roughly 3 hours to ascend to 120 000 feet, and about 5 and a half minutes of free falling until he would deploy his parachute.

Hope Redbull gives him some wings first
I'd like to skydive from the stratosphere

I like the detailed data they offer with the broadcast. It's indeed awesome and crazy.

Re: Redbull Stratos Skydive
Notice how the temperature increases as the craft rises through the Stratosphere because of ozone. Should reach about -5 to -3 Celsius towards the edge. I think about -30 to -20 at 40 km, the projected jump point.

Re: Redbull Stratos Skydive
22 kilometers up after about an hour and twenty minutes.. Plenty of altitude left to climb. Thrilling.
