Default Will Nadals Legacy be tarnished due to his Time Wasting and Other Histrionics?

Now i am talking about Genuine Tennis Fans and not the Average Popcorn and Armchair Fans who just see the Success of Nadal.

Think about it, The Whole Tour takes around 20 Seconds between Serve but this guy takes around 30-40 Seconds. He clearly Snatches the Momentum from the Opponents.

I also know that the Tennis Circle is too Decent and Well behaved to make itself heard about these things. It would sound too "inappropriate" to mention these things. But the Genuine Tennis fans cannot be fiddled with and he cannot be made fool about.

How will this Guy be remembered in the tennis Annals?

If this helps some people cope should history go Nadal's way, so be it. None of these 'histrionics' had anything to do with how he's matched up with his two greatest rivals during his career.

With the passage enough time, people are either canonized or demonized. Those few who call out Nadal for his gamesmanship now won't bother when he eventually retires. Especially not when he wins the double career slam tomorrow against his favorite opponent on the entire tour.

His legacy will be tarnished for his boring style of play and cheating antics.

I still remember McEnroe's great game and his antics. They are two different things. But, I tend to be a reasonable person.
If you are full of hatred, you will hate Rafa for being a left hander and say that he is the only left hander in the Top 10 and he cheats..
Rafa has mild OCD and some of his court routines have become a habit .
It is far better than swearing at umpires and breaking rackets.

History will remember him as a great champion, which he is.

none of his 'antics' truly affect what happens in a match, in a particular rally 99.9% of the time

it also doesn't hurt that some of the greatest ever, particularly Federer, have massive respect towards Nadal (I think its safe to say this is genuine because Federer is not afraid to make it fairly obvious that he doesn't respect or like SOME players, ala Novak)

Nadal will be remembered for his accomplishments and for being one of the toughest and grittiest players of all time. not such a tough memory for people to have of you

Who cares about legacy. This shitty sport will hopefully be over after this current generation retires. This WTAification of tennis has killed it. Real men in America watch tennis and think it's less manly than ballet dancing. Richard Sherman is more of a man than any tennis player will ever be. That's just a fact.

I would have thought like that too..

Elite athletes like Lebron James,Manning,Kobe Bryant would be going to sports like Baseball,Football,Basketball.. And rest like Sam Querrey,John Isner,Donald Young would be going to tennis.

Seriously. Take a look at what we have in the U.S. As dangerous as American Handball is, all the top athletes are trying that. You are telling me this country can't have good tennis players or is it that we just can't compete with other sports and the money they make, the attention they get in the media, and the stature you have as a superbowl winner vs. grand slam winner these days. Tennis used to be a manly sport when Jimmy Connors and people like that played. Now it's like gymnastics or running.
