Lenders is a lot more of a troll than I thought he was. A lot more. He's really annoying me.

Honestly, though, I would totally have sex with Mikey. I said this before, but there's no problem in saying it again. He's cute.

Election is in two days! Well since it's Monday morning here in VA, it's basically 1.8 days or so. Very excited because history is gonna be made

Re: Don't blame it on the sunshine. Don't blame it on moonlight. Blame it on the boog
If I hear a person using the word gay or the word fag as an insult, my first instinct is to knock the living daylights out of them. Maybe then they'll stop using it that way. But since assaulting assholes and ignorant privileged fools will lead me to a trip in jail, I just call them out instead and tell them to knock it off.
I also hate how people say "words evolve" as if gay people don't identify as gay (Hint: We do) and as if the fact gay used to be used as a means of calling someone cheerful has anything to do with calling something bad, gay. When in fact the gay=cheerful=homosexuality connection is an actual connection that goes back to gay men being portrayed as camp in movies and popular culture, it's not a word the gay community simply adopted. The only reason gay has become a means to call something undesirable is homophobia. Using it knowing it offends people is completely out of line. And hearing straight people trying to justify the usage of gay in this way is as insulting as it gets.

Re: Don't blame it on the sunshine. Don't blame it on moonlight. Blame it on the boog
I don't associate with anti-gay people. Whenever, if ever, I hear the word gay used not directly referring to sexuality, it's a positive sense or in jest, as a joke. Literally never meant as a means to insult or put down. I cannot deal with that, period. If you're the type who uses gay as a means to insult, we're not going to be friends.
Since I don't associate with anti-gay folk, I really don't get why they can't seem to get it. I want to shake them and shake some sense into their brains. The complete stupidity and lack of awareness is shocking to me. The lack of sensitivity. I don't get it because I don't have any experience with such people. It's basically a total WTF situation for me. In my eyes, if you don't get it, in almost 2013, then you're not worth my time.

Gurl that won't be a problem, I always stay strapped
You live closer to Mikey than I do, he doesn't have my ring on his finger, so you can totally do what you want with him. He'll be broken in for me to play with afterward

Re: Don't blame it on the sunshine. Don't blame it on moonlight. Blame it on the boog
I'm thinking about leaving this country after finishing my degree. The winters are simply too depressing, which is not good for my mental health, and there's a really overwhelming vibe of negativity here. I also fare quite well on my own and am not too attached to things, which works in my advantage. Although I have to admit my degree is pretty useless, which doesn't help my chances to find a decent living elsewhere.
The only thing I will really miss is the fact this is the best party country in the world.

Re: Don't blame it on the sunshine. Don't blame it on moonlight. Blame it on the boog
Tomorrow night is going to be a scary, scary night. I'm making a thread when I wake up in the morning where I am going to live update the poll numbers of the presidential election, senate races, and marriage equality numbers. I'm confident Obama will win but Obama winning and marriage equality failing would be a total disaster for me, so hopefully everything comes through.

What do you have a degree in?
Have a country you plan on moving to? I've heard/read the Dutch are quite cold, stoic people in general so I can understand why you wouldn't like the vibe there.
The Dutch have great parties but it's the Castro and WEHO that are the most fabulous if I may say so myself
