CNN ''scientific'' poll calls it a draw. Maybe you watched a different debate. The undecided voters say Romney won big on taxes, deficit and economy.

Re: 1st 2012 US Presidential Election Televised Debate
Very negative debate. I actually thought the first one was better, more civilized and at least Romney talked about his own plan. But this time it was all about bashing the opponent instead if discussing his own credentials.
Obama won this round and I'm pretty sure Romney won't win me over next debate. President Johnson it is. Vamos Libertarians!

Re: 1st 2012 US Presidential Election Televised Debate
The CNN poll is overrepresented by Republicans on top of Republicans being more likely to watch debates. Most pundits very much see it as a Obama win overall. Romney wasn't blown out, though, so he won't be hurt too much.
Obama won 15-8 with undecided voters in a CNN focus group. However, most undecideds are still undecided. So the foreign policy debate on Monday will be important, although at this point, most people are leaning one way.

Re: 1st 2012 US Presidential Election Televised Debate
Romney's lies caught up with him tonight, as did the fact he cannot actually show how his economic plan is financially feasible. Obama has a poor record to run on and Romney did well exposing that.
Romney is a bad candidate, which is why Obama is still seen as likely to win reelection, but the economy is poor enough and Mitt has the slickster former-businessman card in his back pocket. Middle income/Uneducated whites will vote for Mitt because they want to be him although his tax policies are unfair and would hurt them.

That is what you called ''total destruction'' a few posts ago? And the CNN poll was among a group of selected undecideds, I think, not a phone-in.

Why say ''slickster businessman'' when he was an exceedingly successful businessman. Are you like abraxas, seeing sucess as something to be jeered at?
