Because Nadal has consistently struggled on fast courts, besides the few exceptions. Also, it's simple fact that the courts have slowed down considerably. It's his biggest help but also his biggest enemy, he needs the slower speeds to thrive yet they damage his knees.
I like the guy but you gotta see that at least.

nadal's playstyle -> slam wins and nadal's playstyle -> dodgy knees so slam wins and dodgy knees are a bundle. You can't have one without the other.
No dodgy knees means nadal wins a lot less slams. nadal's tactic is to tire his opponents and force them into errors. It's almost like he makes the opponent lose the match instead of him winning it.
Lucky for Roger talent doesn't equate physical problems. Too bad nadal is severely lacking on that department.

Grass is a better surface for Rafa than slow HC as seen by his performances at WI compared to AO/IW/Miami.

Nope. He has not underachieved at all. By 26, Federer had 12 slams, Borg had 11 slams and Sampras had 10 slams.
The top 4 player that has underachieved is Djokovic by far and to a lesser extent Andy Murray losing his first 4 slam finals. Djokovic was AWOL from AO 2008 to AO 2011. Wasted too much time.
Biggest myth in tennis. There are plenty of guys out there who do more running than Rafa, and yet somehow they don't have health issues with their knees. Strange right?

This obvious rule-bending in Nadal's favour should not go unnoticed and traditionalists are advised to submit a petition to the French Tennis Federation.

Your statement is incorrect. nadal has played several 5 setters, losing this year in the 2nd round, in the early rounds of wimbledon. I can recall haase, petzschner and soderling.
Why?! Because the grass is still "real" grass in the 1st week. As the tournament goes on and the grass turns into clay then nadal excels. If any of the 3 guys I mentioned above had some balls, a la Rosol, nadal wouldn't have won Wimbledon.
nadal excels at clay and it is easy to understand why he excels at wimbledon 2nd week.
Also a video everyone already knows about.
It would be a laugh watching nadal get owned by journeymen in Wimbledon with real grass.

In 2008 Nadull fluked his first Wimbledon from slow grass & dark clouds over his opponents side of the court. He had also benefited from the selective darkening in the 2005 RG SF although the GOAT eyeballs had adapted by the 2011 RG SF where there were no complaints.
In 2009 however Wimbledon grass was sped back up to 2003-2005 levels and Federer finally recieved a worthy opponent in Andy Roddick.
The grass was slow as molasses again in 2010, enabling the topspin moonballer Tomas Berdych to upset the deserving champion and reach the finals.
Throughout all this, the speed of the clay courts has never been altered, and the court speed in RG 2009 was identical to that of the 1995 tournament.
