USA F26: Novikov def Sajous 6-7(5) 6-1 7-6(10)
Novikov saved 8 match points vs the Haitian. Novikov has had some poor results after the US Open run but this was a gutsy win.

before his great US Open, he had only won 3 or matches in futures this year

Sajous lost 5-7 in the third last week, and now this.
Some tough losses, he's gotta bounce right back.

i have a feeling that Novikov will remain a "future" player and never play in the main tour (unless he is given WCs).
