I personally think it's a huge leap to go from sq(1) = sq((-1)(-1))
It works for positive numbers but not for negative numbers. Because if that were the case, you could use this for any numbers and get strange equalities. |

Ignore the stars, they are just how the root symbol c&ped in.
1 is equal to root[1], which is equal to root[(-1)(-1)], which is equal to root[(-1)] x root[(-1)], which is equal to i x i, which is equal to -1.
I think I've seen the error anyway, so it doesn't matter. |

I woulda been ready all the time today after 11am (i.e. 9am in UK). I could've studied or somthing like that but I've been killing time all the day. Luckily I've been able to clean my apartment a bit.
And I like watching doubles but right before a great match like today, I'm too excited to concentrate on it. In slams it's much easier to concentrate on men's doubles finals, it's the highlight of Saturday, not the women's singles final.

Like I said, the error is in your assumption that sq(1)=sq((-1)(-1))
If this were the case then we would get all sorts of crazy equalities. |
