I'm at iQ shoreditch which is at Old Street. It's like 20 minutes by bus to LSE, but I took the bus on a Sunday, so on a weekday it's probably an hour.

Nothing is more miserable than Finnish November. Here in Central Finland (many people consider this northern because majority lives in south), sun rises in November after 8am and it sets already before 4pm. and everything is dark as there's no snow. December is already better as there's snow, and short day almost belongs to Finnish X-mas. And you don't care about darkness in january because of AO. And in February you already see the day is longer. And already now the night is longer than day, well that's the case in whole Northern hemisphere. But it's so cold, I'd rather be e.g. at Mediterranean now.

But Finnish summer is so great, in late June it's quite bright all night long, even if sun actually setted. And in late July it's dark only about 2 or 3 hours.

Exact same situation here in regards to the winter hours like in November in Finland.

So depressing FML.

I love Finland. Helsinki was so cool when I went.

It's a matter of give-and-take, though. Do you want the best summer ever for a miserable and dark winter? Or a decent summer for a fairly tolerable winter, like in the UK?
