He didn't say that to the crowd, he said that to Murray's team. And specifically he said "this is your success as well".

This is why I love this website, because of all the bitter Betties and people talking out of their assholes. Must be nice to hide behind a keyboard and talk so much shit.

Congrats to Murray. Not a fan but he grinded one out...great summer.

Bursting with pride! Awesome Andy, if you're going to win your first GS Final, then why not do it in style, blowing a 2 sets to love lead and then powering through with a double break in the 5th. Hahaha! Legend!

Credit to Novak for a memorable fightback, but can't say it didn't come as as a huge surprise, it was typical of a true champion.

When the SF came along I said that I would root for Ferrer and then Murray to win this title.

Congrats Muzza, you finally did it son!!

Djoker should boycott USO after being screwed by USTA. Mugray being gifted a slam just like Roddick in 2003 and he's not even a yank

So Djokovic gets the easiest draw in ATP history, and he still loses?

What a disgrace, and a talentless mug.

Well, I'm by no means a Murray supporter, but he certainly deserved that one. Djokovic played awfully, whether it was because of the wind or not is irrelevant, Murray was in the same conditions.
Also, did not like that MTO much. Right before Andy served for the set... Reallly looks like Nole was hoping to make him feel the pressure to serve for his first Grand Slam and make him choke.

To those who will inevitably blame this on bad scheduling... When you see how badly Nole plays in the wind, there's every reason to think that he was saved by the scheduling against Ferrer. The way Nole played today in the first two sets shows that it was no incident, he just cannot cope with the wind.
So sure, he had to play yesterday because of the interruption. But he played only 3 sets, and Ferrer, who was obviously not in as great a shape as the day before, did not give him much of an opposition - as much as it pains me to admit it.

Really, I don't think there's much to be said about today's result, except that Nole needs to learn how to play when it's windy... And that he also played rather badly even when it was less windy.

So Andy gets his first Slam title, a lot of haters are going to have to find a new way to make fun of him.
