Oh, Lee, you are a survivor of the quest for the perfect poached egg. I tried out an inset for a skillet today. It worked nicely. I have been letting the eggs sit for awhile in vinegar before putting them into simmering water, but the vinegar smell and faint taste mars the experience. I just wish they made these things in a round shape instead of this curved triangle.
