Cabezon finally gets it done in a very tough match and good to see the sportinguistas making plenty of noise since Gijón sucks at football.
Ferrer should get it done in the 4th match.

So once it went 5 sets, it really was almost NID that isner would lose. He really does have a horrible 5 set record
nico was the better player in the 5th set but isner's serve kept bailing him out, finally nico prevailed

Turrible. John should have taken that fifth set, had plenty of chances but all the rallies on important points ended with him hitting a forehand ten feet wide.
Tie over but who cares anyway.

The poor Bryans. They have virtually guaranteed the US a point in every tie for the last decade and have one DC because their singles players can't even break even.

Isner showed that with serve and desire you can take two sets off Almagro on clay.  Really, John played bad today even for his standart apart from serve. And it`s a shame on court with such a high bounce.
The last few points were funny - easy miss at A-40 at net, then couldn`t find a court at net once again when Magro already was out of position and awful last forehand. Yep, that was funny.
