Delpo is not hitting as nearly as hard as he did in his early career, Delpo can hit harder, but as far as average strokes speed is concerned, Berdych has the edge.

Del Potro can hit it harder but he's more particular about the type of ball he can get a good hit on.

HE BEAT BALLBASHERS, THEREFORE HE HITS THE HARDEST
Del Potro has more natural power, but his groundstrokes aren't really that much more powerful. He goes 80% most of the time. When he hits with full power, he hits about as hard as Soderling but flatter.
Berdych is a more DEVASTATING hitter than Delpo by far though.
What makes Delpo tough for those bashers is that he can keep the ball deep even against the biggest hitters, which makes it tough for them not to miss.
His ability is to absorb power not create it. |

Soderling until he's officially retired. When playing Berdych and Delpo he put both of them on the defensive. Then you hit BIG. Delpo masters the counter-game much better than Berdych though, so his H2H vs them is very different. |

Del Potro's fh is more powerful while Berdych's backhand is more powerful than Potro's. Berdych's serve and returns are also more powerful, so overall Berdych.

Hardest i agree, Soderling. But with this two it's del Potro, however Berdych is a better striker than del Potro, he has more variety in his ground strokes than del Potro. He can hit good angle shots which i don't think del Potro can do.

soderling and rosol can just destroy a ball- like against nadal
del po has odd occasions where he does that
berdych is a huge talent who never really stayed consistent

Neither of them (answering the opening post instead of the thread title), but the average speed of Berdych's strokes are higher than those of Del Potro's, who plays a low risk game.
