idk if del potro can get his forehand working it might be close, but honestly on hc and clay he really doesn't stand a chance, djokovic's balls aren't going to stay in his strike zone.

Nole has to play smart. The way Federer plays against Del Potro. Force Delpo to play running bakchands, let him run a lot, and play low bouncing slice balls to Delpo's backhand. If Djokovic succeeds in that he can win. Probably in 4 sets.
In a longer 5 sets match he might also has an advantage in endurance.

Djokovic will probably win here, Delpo starts slowly, he wasn't looking good even against Roddick, while Djokovic has been cruising against less players even while playing badly. I think Murray/Joker have been playing 70% here, the early rounds are just not even remotely tough anymore. |

From now on, till Novak declines, Delpo will have to play an amazing match to beat him. Novak will never forget that OG loss and will hunt him down when ever he can. Or at least till Rio if Novak wins a medal there.

Don't know what your point is here exactly. Assuming both Djokovic and Del Potro are playing well, the level of tennis in this matchup will be amazing, so the opposite holds true as well. |
