Does anyone know the demographics for TF- what % of posters are male?

I started that kind of poll here and I'm going to have a poll at TF once I reach 100 posts required to start a thread. But it may take some time, to get a better picture of my TF posting activity, I registrated there at the same time as here.

Maybe it's linked to the fact women work less than men (around 13 points of difference in European Union).

I'm a member at TF as well. Honestly, the GM there annoys me more because alot of people just post dumb gifs that aren't funny imo..

As for the tennis talk, meh, its kinda the same.. here, players are called mugs all the time, there chokers. Any debate over there kinda just ends up having no merit besides insults because everyone is so fanbase oriented.

Like I'm a Sharpova fan but the wars that Sharapova fans and Serena fans have are quite stupid to me.

The main thing that TF has over here is the player forums. That's where friendships are built. Here, I've only seen the Novak section like that

I suggest you sig that poll thread of yours and make it with a big font size (a bit like my self-promotion ). Otherwise it won't be representative.

I guess people at MTF are more interested about tennis as game than people at TF, if you want to see tennis at top level, you watch ATP. True tennis fan of course watches WTA too, yet still has main focus in ATP. On the other hand, there are also people who are interested about tennis, yet not about the game, there are men who's only interest in WTA is players' looks, women whose interest in WTA is what players wear and what they do off-court. And there are women whose only interest in ATP is players' looks and what they do off-court. In general, ATP has larger proportion of fans of the game, WTA has larger proportion of people caring only about entertainment. And that can be seen when you compare nen-tennis sections of MTF and TF, TF has more threads about e.g. music and TV shows. And I'd say those people who are interested in entertainment are more social, that's why TF has more activity. And I'd say the ones who are interested in entertainment are more often women than the ones who are interested in tennis, and they are probably younger. That's why the atmosphere at MTF and TF is different. And I have to say, I like maybe a bit harsh humor at MTF, I don't find TF as interesting.

Often a bit more brutal on the surface but there is less meaning behind.

TF is probably a bit like the WTA tour. Very pretty surface. But deep within? Even many of the WTA players themselves are like mortal enemies and refuse to be on the same practice court or even talk to each other even if they still smile and look happy for the cameras. I wouldn't be the least surprised if TF is a way more personal, sinister and bitchier place than MTF will ever become.
On another, non-tennis forum somebody just said that, men may hug each other at the net after match, women often have just a cold handshake.

A majority of posters on TF is gay males. However most like to discuss players outfits or snatching weaves or posting useless gifs than discussing tennis. But its not their fault. You can't discuss women's tennis seriously anyway.

And speaking as someone who is gay and posts way more on TF than MTF.

Used to be called WTAWorld but I believe the WTA made them change the name.

This is very true. I had a great time on Myskina, Golovin and Dementieva forums but I stopped posting there and became a mug poster here.
