US Open R3 : Del Potro def. Mayer 6-3 7-5 7-6 (9)
Watched some parts of it. Delpo didn't look %100. He needs to raise his level in order to achieve what he's expected to.

Del Puto barely edged a prima sort mug like Mayer. I'll be honestly shocked If he takes more than 4 games against Djokovic.

Enough with this "Mayer is a dangerous opponent" crap
He is about as dangerous as a water balloon filled with rose petals.

Still worried about his wrist, don't know if that's effecting his play much.
Happy he got through in straights.

DelPo playing over three hours here, not sure how that works for his fitness

Djokovic having another bye to the finals . Maybe they should bring Nadal back so they could changing from week to week. Pretty boring to watch the same guy having walkovers all the time

Shows how much depth there is when top player looks frail and plays like human faeces and still wins in straight sets.

Re: US Open R3 : Del Potro def. Mayer 6-3 7-5 7-6 (9)
Let say truth - Delpo is in very mediocre form. He hadn`t some one problem today (serve or backhand), but his game doesn`t work well in general. Return, movement, both wings - everything should be improved. I hoped for blockbaster with Nole, but if HMDP somehow succeeds to get past GOATdick Nole will destroy him 2, 3 and 2. It won`t be funny.

Who was the chair umpire, and did something happen during the match why he'd slap the ump's hand instead of shaking it after the match?
