He almost eliminated Federer from the tournament.
When a bad match-up issue is on the table, you must put aside any other reasonable arguments.

prior to AO 11 Simon won the title in Sydney the week before
but i am sure it will be Fish who makes it through

Only thing good was the net game, otherwise subpar play by Roger.

Re: US Open R3 : Federer routines Verdasco 6-3 6-4 6-4
Let's hope for a Fish win, Simon tends to destroy Roger's rhythm and is not a good opponent for a R4.
Not too shabby from the old man but he has to improve in his BP conversion.

Fernando ( not talking about his game) did look like hell today. Bad hair bad beard etc. And he's a HOT man but looked awful in his appearance today.

Re: US Open R3 : Federer routines Verdasco 6-3 6-4 6-4
This is how like for Roger to play. His service games were NID (only faced 1 BP) and did what was needed in verdasco's serve to win the sets comfortably.
No need to summon Jesus Fed to play against mugs like verdasco.
Roger better save his best for the giant that is murray, and after watching murray's match today Roger has almost 0 chance of winning in the semis. But I'm sure Roger will try his best.
And it isn't that bad that murray is winning the US Open, he deserves a slam.

What? Thought he was nothing special here. Just did what he needed to. Made quite a few errors.
Onwards and upwards daddy.

Fish will beat Simon easily, no worries about this.

Federer dropped his level quite a bit for like 4 gems in set 2, after that it was routine.

LOL..now that's just funny. Watching Andy today, Roger is increasingly the favorite in that match, assuming Andy even makes it. He looked tired and worn out. Fed was much fresher.

Meh, a win is what counts I guess.
