Nice job Pics

Unlike the other Ferrer haters, I get a sense pusher for life is mostly trolling and not totally serious with the 'vulture' digs Since I'm not on here constantly and don't feel like referring to posting history, it remains a hazy impression rather than a solid theory; either way I think Thunderfish8 has a point.

Ferrer has really easy draw here. He doesn`t play well for his standart, but still has good chances for winning more matches further.

as for david it will do him well to have 2 straight set wins under his belt. slightly surprised to see how many match points he needed to close it out though

Yeah. Don't know what to think about Ferru's level. This is definitely not the Ferrer I saw in the Olympics or at Cincinnati. But I'm not absolutely sure he's back at his best.

I don't know what to make of his rather poor 1st serve stats. 5 double faults, 56% 1st serves in... That's not great for him, but maybe it's just because he's trying to put a lot of power in his serve, and therefore, has less control.
On the other hand, he has 6 aces and good stats on the number of points won on his 1st and 2nd serve. So maybe in the end, it works out.

His receiving stats are back to what they usually are (could be because Sijsling isn't much of a serve-bot, dunno, I saw only the end of the match).
The real big difference is that he has less than half the number of UE that Sijsling has.

Anyway, I'm glad he won, and also that he won another tie-break. But let's not make tie-breaks a habit please Ferru, they're bad for my nerves (and more importantly, for yours! )

You're definitely not the only one, Thunderfish8. To be honest, I'm extremely disappointed in this forum. Apparently, it's OK to have people around who just continuously troll and bash players for no reason, but it's not OK to have people protesting against this behaviour.

I was hoping to find something else on such a big tennis forum. There are other sports that I love, and I have found big, active forums for them, that may have a little trolling but are mostly sensible discussions between people who love the sport. Here it's more like 80% trolling/childish "in your face" comments.
Unfortunately I cannot find any other forum that's active enough or well-organised enough. But truly, it's the first time in my life that I've had to use the "ignore" function on a forum. And my list keeps getting bigger and bigger.

You blatantly broke the rules so ofcourse your post was removed. I'm surprised you're not banned for your diction earlier, i suppose you got lucky but if it happens again i reckon your luck runs out.

No it's not okay to call another poster a 'fucking idiot', one who went to the effort of creating the threat in the first place. It's rude, insulting and against the rules. The rest was more of the same, what don't you understand about that? have you read the rules? you probably should. It wasn't protesting, it was downright insulting and condescending as Mark put it. We don't need that kind of language here, its not pre-school and there are better ways of conveying your ideas.

This is a huge forum with various sections and various options. The fact that you cant deal with the ones you don't agree with doesn't make it a bad forum. There's a Ferrer forum where i gather you can fawn over your beloved vulture there.

The fact that you downplay Thunderfish's ignorant rant as 'protesting' makes me think that you're playing the role as wind-up merchant and that YOU are the one trolling. So please lets cut the fake behavior, its rather unattractive . I could go on but neither of you are worth much of my time.

Mark and I had our posts deleted among the earlier kerfuffle. I'm sure you are well aware of our views on the match. We shall see you all again after Hewitt's sends David off to that 250 in Malaysia.

Couldn't have put it better myself

That said, it's a shame that post was deleted, it was some of the finest and most condescending whining I've ever seen in an Internet forum, wish I had saved it before it was deleted Good thing the school year is about to start, we need something to keep these kids busy instead of throwing tantrums on MTF because some meany posters because someone has criticized their favorite player.
