I think the interviewer first wanted to hint at the fact that Schalken made many errors, but Kiwi saw it from another point of view that you first have to get Schalken so far that he makes those easy errors and that was because he played so well.

...and after that she quickly changed the topic and said "nun lassen Sie uns aber über Sie selbst sprechen" (lets talk about you now) to get away from Schalken

Schalken himself was also very grateful in his interview and said that Kiefer played well the whole week and that he for his own was happy to be there (he was originally only subsitute) after his bad season and that he sees this as a success to start better times.
