Federer was average but Young couldn't threaten him anyway, he had potential but too inconsistent.

It's so humid out there. Federer was drenched in sweat and didn't look comfortable.

I kind of disagree
I've seen Young looking way more negative and playing like he'd already given up against guys around his own ranking who he ought to believe he can beat -- and at times when he was not even down in the score by more than a break.

He had bouts of dejected play but he did seem to keep trying.

Federer was pushed to the brink tonight. You tell from his reaction after the win that he knows how he close he came to a first round loss.

This Federer guy will go on and win slams. Mark my words. He just upset the GOAT in straights.

Fed did look quite uncomfortable tonight, probably cause of the heat. He looked like he just wanted that match over with.

Anyway, not a hard win

Hope he cuts down on those UE's for the next round though.

One thing is for sure: if Young played all his matches with this determination, he'd be ranked much higher and not have lost so many matches in a row. He does have some game and could be a good player, but his attitude generally sucks.

Boring mediocre match, Young tried for a bit but to no avail against Fed in equally mode.

Well start Rogelio!

His coaching team has got to go as well.

It's about their games, Roger is far much more error prone than Murray, so it's not weird to see him having lots of UEs

Don't really know his coach but the parents really have to leave the guy alone.
