yeh he's the frontman of the massively dull '90s grunge band Bush - they were big around the same sort of time No Doubt/Gwen Stefani were circa Don't Speak etc.

Re: Unlikeliest Famous Tennis Fans?
I don't know what "unlikely" means seeing names here, but during Wimbledon, I was surprised that Ringo Starr from the Beatles supported Fed on twitter .
Keith Richards also seemed to support Fed during the WTF.
And as more common names are quoted, Kevin Spacey often comes to watch matches. Met Federer in WTF and Murray recently in New York.

Re: Unlikeliest Famous Tennis Fans?
Justin Vernon from Bon Iver has a picture of Rafa as his twitter avatar, but I don't know if he likes tennis.

He also did this when the band won two Grammy Awards.

I think Kevin Spacey is mainly there to see balls go back and forth.

Re: Unlikeliest Famous Tennis Fans?
I sat in front of Dionne Warwick and Gladys Knight once at Wimbledon. Not sure if they're fans, or if they were there to support the Williams sisters.
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were there, too.
Eva Longoria is supposedly a fan, and Chelsea Handler attended most of Sharapova's matches at the Olympics.

Re: Unlikeliest Famous Tennis Fans?
Rapper Lil Wayne is a tennis fan. I remember he wrote an article for ESPN or other American sports broadcaster previewing the US Open in 2009 or 2010. Nadal was his favourite player at the time. Also, Snoop Dogg was a fan of Ivan Lendl.
Seems that the rappers can't get enough of tennis, also given that Jay-Z was supporting Nadal at RG 2010 and also Wimbledon that year, and Puff Daddy sat in Djokovic's box in the past 18 months or so at one of the slams (US Open?).
Also, Kaley Cuoco (Penny off Big Bang Theory) used to play to a decent-ish level as a junior. She occassionally tweets about the game too. She was cheering on Nadal in the 5th set against Rosol, and also tweeted when Roddick announced his retirement.
