excuse me but this is not hate, but fact: Murray has no slams. So why even consider putting him in the same bunch as Federer (17 slams), Nadal (11 slams) and Djokovic (5 slams).
Roger is being nice to Murray because of the media hype about him.

point being, 4th doesn't matter in whole story, could put anyone and the equation doesn't change.

What? By the time Lendl and Wilander showed up with their best years, McEnroe and Connors were done winning slams... I mean at least right now, Djokovic/Federer/Nadal are grabbing titles and Murray is certainly just one step behind them. If anything when it was Borg, Connors, McEnroe and perhaps an early Lendl which could be a similar comparison to now would be a more relevant quad.

Good point from Fed. And then I remembered what Rafa had told about tennis in past about "only serve".

Re: Roger : We are best ever, The four of us? That’s a really difficult call.
I agree with Agassi and JMac that this 4 guys are best ever. Even that Murray didnt win slam, we have olympic gold , something which Federer probably never would have. So I think they are right.
It will be sad day for tennis when they retire thats for sure.

Honestly is tennis media the worst? It's only about today and right now.
Even in the despicable soccer media with all its fawning over prophet Messi and miracle Barca, people do remember there was a past full of just as worthy teams and players.

Re: Roger : We are best ever, The four of us? That’s a really difficult call.
Fed classy as always, but given the depth and the brutal physical nature of tennis right now, compounded by the homogenisation of the courts which has killed off serve and volley, I think we'll probably look back at these 4 being the greatest ever to have played some of their best tennis at the same time. Where fed leads, the rest tend to follow so I expect similar respectful responses from the rest of the top 4. Murray may have not won a GS yet (and hopefully that will change very soon) but he has reached 4 slam finals and that is nothing to scoff at...
