Default ESPN Experts' US Open Picks

Here is the list.

Absolutely no love for Murray this year, which is surprising, considering he had 2 picks last year, despite lack of OG and Rafa being in the draw. I'm also surprised Federer only has 3 picks. You would think his recent form suggests he has a better chance than Djokovic, despite the tougher draw.

The draw probably had a big impact.

The draw and Super Saturday were taken into account. I think this is fair. Nole is the overwhelming favourite given how the draw has panned out...

Better than some of the previous ones, I think. At least there were no gender swaps this time .

Actually i am not surpsired, Nole and Roger are clearly 2 biggest favorites, last year Andy came here as Cinci champion and also Roger-Nole weren´t looking that good, yes Nole had fantastic season until USO but he retired in Cinci F and nobody was sure how healthy he is for USO and Roger well, in Canada Tsonga outplayed him and in Cinci Berdych outhit him from the court, now both of them are looking stronger and Murray haven´t done nothing at Canada, Cinci. He is clearly still 3rd biggest favorit, but last year Nole and Roger weren´t so hugely ahead of others in term of who is favorit for USO

Djokovic retired in that match... It didn't mean anything to me. I actually have more faith in him this year. Mostly, because we have seen a new side of him. But I still wouldn't pick him as the favourite, don't get me wrong. I actually agree with them. It's just weird that experts have less faith in him now than they did in 2011.
