It can't matter to Murray much which side of the draw he is. Maybe he'd prefer Nole in the semi and then a tired Fed in the final, but its still a much more significant draw for the top 2.

I would't say Murray drops sets playing his best. What matches are you thinking of?

Wilander is another product-promoting wagon hopper.
Like Mac, no idea why anyone pays attention.

Here we go again...
Murray always seems to be the favorite, but that means squat until he actually wins one.

Taking Rafael Nadal out, that might mean that he only has to beat one of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer along the way and that's going to make it easier.

Lol, another very good, well thought out argument, Mats

Re: Wilander&Ivanisevic: "Murray is the main favourite for US Open"
...I mean, we have the current world number one, in pretty decent form, most recent major winner AND most recent HC masters winner on one hand...
and on the other we have the current world number two, also a recent HC masters winner, generally regarded as the best HC player over the last eighteen months or so (?), who is the defending champion of the US Open...
but Murray is "the main favourite"?
These people, sweet jesus.
