Well, those guys again who never learn from their mistakes. Both are nadal fanboys and dislike federer. I'm surprised about two things. One, they pick Murray as clear favorite and two, they write djokovic off completely. Usually wilander only singled federer out.
This.
Fed gets written off regularly and I got used to that, but writing off Djokovic who's won the last three hc slams... It's a bit odd.

Once upon a time there was a myth about strong and weak eras. On this glorious day the clownery was eventually unmasked: 30 y.o. past-prime daddy Fed became #1 once again in the supposed strong "Spartan" era with his rivals at their peak.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Long live King Federer!

Re: Wilander&Ivanisevic: "Murray is the main favourite for US Open"
Murray is not the favorite for any Slam. He'll likely get to the semifinal, but the US Open is not the Olympics. How has be performed post-Olympics? He's bombed in typical fashion.
Roger has kept going. He performed poorly in the Olympics finals, but frankly I'd chalk that up to being tired from the semis. Novak has not played as well as he did last year or earlier in the year. Yet he won in Montreal and got to the finals in Cincinnati.
Roger and Novak as the favorites. Murray might be a distant third. He is not nor has he ever been equal to either of them nor Nadal. Wishful thinking and hoping does not change that reality.
Re: Wilander&Ivanisevic: "Murray is the main favourite for US Open"
That's just Goran & Mats being attention w....something they've been lacking lately...Goran says that every slam just to be invited by BBC during Wimby to comment...a complete waste of money if you ask me...since he's not too bright and/or eloquent...
Re: Wilander&Ivanisevic: "Murray is the main favourite for US Open"
let me see. most likely, he will need wins against both, federer and djokovic on back to back days, BO5 (combined 0-4 in gs). he didn't win any title on hc this year, no masters either. didn't do particularly well in hc masters, too, except miami where he again lost to djokovic. so, the only reason for him being main favorite is the win at olympics? doesn't make sense to me.
anyway, I think this is just a case of dumb&dumber talking over an empty bottle of strong alcohol.
