Federer lost to every healthy opponent at the French open.
He better have Del Potro choke 3 times there.

A young ancic and injured kuerten destroyed him in 3 straight sets.

Djoker struggled on clay, but breezed by fed in Rome & FO in second gear during his slump after the Australian Open.

Hamburg - Fed was two breaks up in both first & 2nd sets.
Federer lost in 2 sets vs. healthy Nadal. LMAO Rivalry on clay vs. a clowning Nadal.

At least Djoker beat a good Nadal twice in a month.

federer tried to convince everyone that he could play on clay

he smiled smugly as his hard court game worked on homogenized clay courts

when federer had to face someone who could properly play on clay, like nadal, or kuerten, he lost

djokovic had the honestly to admit that he was ok on clay, but not great

yet he beat nadal with conviction

arrogant federer needed no such humility

he relied on choking haas, injured nadal, and choking del potro to eventually win RG with his 'new and improved' clay game

Just ignore the bagel he gave to Kuerten. You get on court, you're ready to play right?

no Rock, I'm talking about Hamburg that was played right after Rome and Rome was played in 5 sets. Rafa won in Rome but Fed got him back in Hamburg. Rafa lost the final set 6:0, but Nadal was so tired. still fair win by Fed, but Nadal lost it because he was completely out of gas since the tournament started.

btw, I forgot about Madrid 2009, when Rafa and djokovic played that crazy match in semis for so long and Fed showed in the final and punished wasted Nadal.

I think prime Fed and Nole are very good on clay and I wouldn't even get into discussion who is better because it is close. no point. Didn't baby Djok win a set against Fed back in Rome, what was it 2006,Nole was only 19yo I think?

sorry my memory sucks. I know I can check out stats at the ATP site, just too lazy.

Federer was in the 2002 Year End Championships with no slam quarterfinal appearance. Djoker was ridiculed because he reached only French Open semi & had 6 set points and a 4-2 lead in the 2007 US Open final, at age 20 with a bad serve.

At age 27, Fed stopped winning clay Masters titles and Wimbledon. Then, Benneteau, Del Potro & 31 year old Haas & blue clay threw Fedthief gifts.

No 2006 was the last year clay TMS finals were best of 5- both Fed and Nadal pulled out of Hamburg after their epic (a pullout that allowed disgusting Boredo to win a TMS )

In 2007 Nadal won Rome at a canter with only a God mode display from Davydenko pushing him to the limit and then he crossed over to Hamburg (where he had weaker results) and saw his way to the final where he did have his chances but Fed played very well on a low bouncing heavy clay court that suited his game a lot more than Nadal's (a year later Fed also had his chances to beat him but lost a tight one)
