Which player can bench the most?
I recently had a disagreement with a banned member on MTF during a tennis outing on who could lift the most in the weight room. Curious to see what everybody else thinks?

Nadal "Sampras, Ivanisevic match. or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis. it is a few swings of the racquet. For me in the past it was just serve. serve" smug arrogant.
clay excluded. successive win 0. If grass and a hard are fast. Like Sampras era. Nadal is able to win only with clay. power of defense and muscles. boring ugly. All the surface is slow now.
fake time-out. cheat. gamesmanship. too noisy annoying always. excuse. boycotts threatened. always dissatisfaction cry complaints. dissatisfaction to schedule. selfish two-year ranking. bump to player. ugly protest. always exaggerated appeal of self condition. etc. overrated by fanatic arrogant blind fan

Yes Russell really does look like he lifts,but I voted for Stronga since he is taller and has natural chest development that has nothing to do with benching.I doubt most of them do bench on a regular basis.

apart from the fact that he lost most of his muscle mass, for an exercise like bench what accounts are chest muscles.
as for the question the answer his serena williams and it's not even close. a guy like russell has a certainly a good developed muscle mass but last year I had the chance to have a chat with Aleksandar Bajin who told me serena could lift up to 396lbs (180kg) on a good day. don't think russell has such strength.

However biceps and triceps also play a role in benchpress as it is compound movement.I personally feel it in my triceps since it's my strongest arm muscle

that's true, biceps and triceps are important as well for the execution.
the point is Monfils' arms are nowhere near his 2011 form as well.
