Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
So would I! Btw: Another win for today! It seems Ernests and Berankis are getting along pretty well. E's finished the doubles match with style, by serving an ace

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
Is anyone watching Ernests' match right now? I'm only watching scores & someone tweeted me there has been a medical time out for him?! THERE HAS BEEN TWO POINTS!

They started now but he was limping on the last point, seems like a strain, but i didn't see it happening, just tuned in now

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
Yes, it seems that Ernests can't run properly. Honestly I think he will shortly retire I hope not but he really can't move properly. Too bad I didn't see the very first point, it must have happened then because I turned it on at 15:0.

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
Well nice start with injury and all, if he can do it quick it might not turn out to be a problem...fingers crossed. He is doing a lot of weird moves with legs as if something is bothering him though

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
On twitter it is being said it's his ankle. Shame to have something hurt at the start of the match. Hopefully he can play on! *crosses fingers*

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
He's calculating every move and doesn't try to run down some balls that he might have otherwise tried to reach. But his serve is working at least and Bautista-Agut is not playing very well. It's so frustrating to see because a healthy Ernest would definitely have beaten him. But today... he is very vulnerable at the moment because of his limited movement.
Edit: it doesn't seem like it's the ankle judging by the way he bends his knees often. And now that his serve wasn't working he lost the break. Damn... I can't watch it, it's obvious something is bothering him

He has to serve perfectly because he can't run much

*hides face in hands* So hard to hear when he was doing so well in this tournament. He wants to improve his ranking for AO and now this! Ugh!

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
It's obvious he tries to use his serve to avoid having to run much. In this game he had 2 double faults and 2 aces on second serve.

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
He is trying to serve it out and makes too many df because of that, I wonder how long he can keep it up. And Bautista is really no match for Ernie, it will be such a shame if he lost because of injury...

Hopefully he can hang in there & it's nothing a little treatment won't fix.

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100
Actually it seems like his movement is getting better, he puts more weight on his legs when making shots. Or maybe I'm just imagining it
