Forehand looked and he was aggressive throughout which is good news as he sometimes just chooses to out-rally players of Cipolla's standard. Olympic hangover was obvious and he messed up a few shots despite playing well to get there but overall he looked decent. Hopefully his knee/back or whatever is okay.
Hardly surprising he did not play at his best, after what was it - 11 matches in 9 days, followed by media obligations and a long flight, then only a very little time to get used to the surface change. He did well to win a match (even against a rabbit) considering all that.
He always has problems changing surfaces, due to the congenital knee problem. It should be fine in a day or so, but might very well not be good enough to take on Raonic next match.
I saw him grabbing his left thigh, and left knee and left hip. What is wrong with him?
I'm not sure. I watched the match on TV (TSN). Thank God, we in Canada have a great coverage of this event. they were talking about his back ... I don't think it's anything too serious. Murray must be tired after playing so many matches lately.
I'm just worried about both Nole and Andy not being 100% at the USO.
