Is Kei Nishikori more popular than Nadal?
Japan has approximately 127 million people and I'd guess that 95% of them are Kei fanatics so that is 120 million fans!
Spain only has a measly 47 million so even with 100% of the people liking tennis, they would not overtake Kei.
Also Kei seems to have no haters, I love Kei and I'm sure you do too. He is slowly becoming a formidable opponent and to be honest I wouldn't want to support a player who has to beat Kei in a grand slam final.
Kei is playing Toronto which will allow him to enthral a whole new set of fans, while Nadal recovers from the Rosol loss.
So I leave it to you other members, who is the more popular man?

Nadal has way more fans than Kei outside of their countries.

You make an assumption that all people in Japan know what tennis is, I'm pretty sure that it's not true.

Some of those gay men would be bottoms, so not huge fans of Nadal as he would be seen as unfair competition...

Re: Is Kei Nishikori more popular than Nadal?
LOL, what a ridiculous question. So Li Na, Wu Di, Peas, Bhupathi, Peng, Zheng, Bopanna and Mirza are the most popular cause their countries have billions of people. I dont think so.

True. That's self-evident, of course.
