Washington Final: A.Dolgopolov def. T.Haas 6-7 6-4 6-1
ffs TOMMY! There goes another fine opportunity to snatch this title. Not taking anything away from Dolg, but when Tommy got broken in 2nd set, it was complete meltdown afterwards...
Gratz to Dolg tho..

It has to be said that tommy melted down, but dolgo really returned a lot better in the 2nd set and kept giving haas pressure. 2nd set determined the match as tommy didnt return well the whole match and he almost stole it. Alex was just too much quality in the rallies, he found some consistency in the middle. Disappointing for tommy.

funny how I've seen Gruntollers celebrating more a victory in a R1 at a 250 than these guys winning a 500

^^ this, also Dolg benefited a lot with all the rain delays. I don't like making excuses but its not difficult to put 2 and 2 together why it reflected badly for Tommy...

Dolg is a class act, and his game is well worth of this title.
