Better player lost
Nole had more winners, better first serve and better stats but he lost - reason fucked up surface of so called "grass" of Wimbledon courts.

The better player is the one who plays best on the big points. If you don't take your chances, then you don't deserve to win.

Re: Olympics: Del Potro wins Bronze, beats Djokovic 7-5 6-4
As long as Del Potro keeps going deep in the tournaments it merits respect. Especially after that crazy injury he had a few years back.
But probably at this point he should try to compete for another slam. Nadal is injury prone, Federer is olderer, and the only other threat is Djokovic and Murray. Guys like Potro and Tsonga need to take advantage and get the final results.
Regardless congratulations on the Bronze.

Your man had a great week anyway, considering it's grass

Congrats to DelPo. Very happy for Muzza and DP, who should be in the top 5.
Novak is just getting ready to win USO. He just needs to find his brain .
He'sjust missing out on crucial points. Losing the match despite having more points twice in a row can't be good, but he might feel quite pleased with it.

It is especially amazing than Delpo is playing tennis of this quality and getting an Olympic medal after enduring a career threatening injury and facing wrist surgery. Inspirational stuff.
Delpo
Nole will surely have another shot in Rio, as will Juan Martin

Re: Olympics: Del Potro wins Bronze, beats Djokovic 7-5 6-4
I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season, and that's not just because DP won Bronze, but everything that has happened in the Olympics this year. USO will be really interesting IMO.
As for the Olympics, for another four years to come

Re: Olympics: Del Potro wins Bronze, beats Djokovic 7-5 6-4
So thrilled for Juan! He fully deserves this. Novak already has a bronze and really, another one will do nothing to his resume. Sure he would have loved to give Serbia a medal, but Delpo deserved it more and so glad he found the energy today to win this one. Didnt see the match,. but still Pony!
