I wish I could remember the thread the post was in, but there was no mention of a deadline at all. The person was just told that since they were already in the Final they had waited too late to ask. |

I'm going out here and going to Istanbul because there are less people there. It seems like everywhere I go it gets crowded. And I had no idea about the LE rule and changing Tournaments. I'll contact my Doubles partner here to see if he wants to switch, but since he is in the MD in Singles I think he will stay here and just play Singles.

Don't worry, you can play both. There's a rule about not playing two tournaments in the same week, but from what I know playing a challenger + qualies in a grand slam in the same week is the only exception from the rule.
Think about it, if you weren't allowed to do so, the challengers taking place in the same week as the qualies for a grand slam would have just a few players (with the majority choosing to play the grand slam, obviously), so I don't see the point of organising those challengers/futures if you weren't allowed to play both.
