you honestly going to tell be Levine deserves one over bester? I don't think either one is very likely to win a main draw match but Levine is pathetic against top 50 opposition. Id say give the wild cards to dancevic, pospisil and bester or polansky and make Levine qualify.Id even go so far as to say give it to peliwo over levine

I'm hoping to come up and watch the tournament for a day, probably quarterfinal day (day matches)

I'm about 2 hrs away so no hotel needed

I hope your right, I personally don't care about Levine at all. But he does play DC, so I think he will get the WC. I don't like it, but to me, it makes sense.

I know Levine does make himself available for davis cup but at the same time the guy has like 0 top 50 wins this year and barely any top 100. I remember a couple years ago someone had said they wanted to hand out wild cards to players they thought could represent them well. I think they have to take Levine's ridiculous record this year into account. I realize bester and peliwo are both ranked well below him but I think we can all agree that peliwo has a far greater potential(in my opinion he's got the highest potential of any of the Canadians) than Levine and bester could be ranked top or damn 100 if he wasn't so injury ridden. Philip has put in a fantastic performance in granby . I have a feeling that at best he'll get a qualifying card though

That's a stretch, how can you possibly give a MD WC to Bester and not Levine.

The hate Levine gets around here is amazing, no one seems to care about him at all really, I'm pretty much the only one posting about him I think, people, wake up, he's a good player, we should be happy to have him again, who cares about the other crap, get over it.

I was just looking for who else to give a wild card too. Honestly going by past at the event polansky should probably get it. As I said Levine is useless. He cant beat guys ranked above him, hell he has trouble beating guys ranked anywhere near him. He's done absolutely nothing all year. If he wants to get in he should be made to qualify

My choices for wild cards into the main draw would be:

1. frank dancevic
2. vasek pospisil
3. gael monfils
4. peter polansky/fillip peliwo

I'd give it to fillip because he's a great young prospect for Canada and Levine is nothing special

You are making Levine sound much worse than he actually is, yeah ok, his season's not been great, still has some alright wins though, had a lot of close matches too, maybe still better than CH level, Peliwo hasn't shown he's that great, he's still a toiling Futures player, I don't have high hopes for him, great junior, not looking like he will be a great pro, reminds me of Levine actually, probably a similar career, no way Polansky should get it, Levine will give a better match than either of them, he could get a nice draw too, draw a clay player for example.

I really don't need to try and make him sound worse than he is because he is that bad. Peter has had a couple good upsets at the rogers cup before, I think that should be taken in to consideration, the guy performs well in Canada. Filip will definitely have a better career than Levine. There's so much more talent there that, with experience will serve him well.I struggle to see any similarity between Levine and fillip at all

Levine will go down easier than peter. Maybe not fillip but because of his past performances id definitely favor peter to give a good performance and even pull an upset than jesse

your argument that jesse could get a good draw doesn't really make sense because the same could be said for all of them. The difference being that where Levine would absolutely need the kind of draw you talk about to actually win a match peter wouldn't necessarily need it.

You are living in the distant past, Peter's success was a very long time ago, and before his serious accident, he's a very different player now, he won't ever be top 100 materiel, get over it.

No way will Levine lose easier than Peter, you seem to talk like Peter's some really good player, well he's not, I don't get how you can say Peter is better than Levine, he's not.

You are wrong. PPs accident was when he was 17.
