A few GB gold hopes have bombed so he possibly may be called upon to bail them out.

wondering if murray could pull out another of his Master 1000 epic draws. tsonga has to beat nole in epic , then exhausts himself even more in doubles and then face non fed in finals

Unlikely. Worst case scenario in playing Porto/Nishikori for bronze and he beats either of them easily if he feels like it. He is beating the winner of Tsonga/Djokovic in the semi anyway so it does't really matter.

I agree he will probably beat Nishikori, but he never had it easy against Del Potro.

Tsonga/Djokovic beating him is a lock.

Murray has a decent chance of winning gold for Great Britain, would be a great achievement for him. But he could also equally finish emptyhanded.

Great performance from Murray. Wasn't against a fully fit Almagro but that serving was still superb nonetheless.

Should win a medal for us now and hopefully he can go even further.

Head to head against Potro is 5-1. Grass is also Potro's worst surface, don't think he can beat Murray on grass.

Kind of Bizzare aswell that you think Tsonga beating him would be a lock considering Murray is 6-1 against Tsonga and 3-0 on grass. If anything Murray beating Tsonga is the lock.

I would also say Murray-Djoko on grass, BO3 would be 50-50. Definately not a certain win for Novak.

Considering Djokovic lost a set to Fabio and Lleyton, he is not a lock for the finals. Don't know what is making you think that way, Gustavo.

This is a very important tournament for Djokovic, he will bring the heat against Murray and won't lose

Although I'm still rooting for Tsonga to win the whole thing.

Good result. Would be typical if Murray won gold here right after losing the biggest match of his life at the same venue just a couple of weeks ago.
