Benny next rd will be just as tough, if not tougher, Roger needs to bring some sharp tennis throughout the match...
Anyway, onwards good luck Feds!
And also, to the majority of Fed "fans" who were berating the man so pathetically in the live commentary - shut up and F**K off.

Benneteau wasn't the match he wanted at Wimby either, now was it?

Roger you troll. 3 MPs in the second set and ends playing a 3rd. You should conserve energy not waste it.
Let's hope mugerer and wasterer have made their only appearence at the olympics.
|
I would've liked him to lose to watch some pathetic Fed fans saying that their idol tanked or that he doesn't care about the Olympics and this is why he lost.

Re: OLY R1: (1) Fighterer (SUI) def. Falla (COL) 63 57 63
Falla redirects pace really well. Every time Fed went toe to toe with falla with topspin backshands, he struggled. Every time Fed varied his pace and used the low slice to bring Falla forward and make his own pace, Fed won.
On the deuce court, Falla was repeatedly serving down the T. Very surprising that Fed did not pick it up until the very end.

Re: OLY R1: (1) Fighterer (SUI) def. Falla (COL) 63 57 63
You gotta give cred to Falla to not make a UE like on the last MP on those two 0-40.s in the 2nd overachieving goatness. How Roger lost his serve twice is a blackout for me. Thankfully he could play great again in the third and not think to much about the wasted bp.s. Unreal though how the mental aspect comes in and haunt like this.

Re: OLY R1: (1) Fighterer (SUI) def. Falla (COL) 63 57 63
this match also proved 2010 wasn't a fluke, for some reason Falla is able to read Federer's serve and most of his patterns from the baseline really well, and he's able to bother Roger with his patterns of play himself
this is a good matchup tennis-wise on grass

THIS, Benno returns awesome so if Serve isn't more accurate we are in for another one of these break fests..

Serious trolling from Fed, can't expect to get away with that against Benneteau.
