Kitzbuhel R1: Gulbis narrowly escapes Haider-Maurer, 2-6, 7-5, 6-1
Impressive comeback from Gulbis, really. I've seen AHM implode before, but this is Gulbis after all, and AHM was fully in control for first two sets, during which Gulbis was basically an unforced error machine, losing the first three games of the match. At about two points from defeat, he somehow started finding the court and evened up the second set at 5-5.
Seemingly no love lost between these two, with the crowd getting on Gulbis's case a bit for some 'antics'.
Third set was all Gulbis, got up a break early for *2-1 and another one for *4-1 (Gulbis fans never feel safe unless he is up a double break )
He was playing really well at the end and AHM was demoralized. Clinched the final set breadstick on a first serve return winner.

AHM had a mp at 6-2 5-4* on Gulbis serve,it was a very long game,Gulbis saved the mp with an ace.Gulbis was ridiculously bad in the first 2 sets, awful lot of UE's and low first serve %.

Yeah, Gulbis was so bad in the first set I turned the match off after he lost it. Watching Gulbis play is not good for my nerves It's impressive indeed that he turned it around.

Before the match point saved with an ace, Gulbis double-faulted, hitting a 213 km/h second serve.
