2:6 6:4 6:1 against Stepanek, seems like he had a good comeback after dropping the first set. Now against Djokovic, nothing to lose for Tommy. That's his first quarterfinal in a Masters event since Indian Wells 08.
Haas also got a place in the Cincinnati draw now. From now on, direct entry into all tournaments will be out of question anyway. A lot of tennis to play, but he seems so fit, it shouldn't be a big problem, as there is at least a week of rest before the US Open start.
That unbelievably good work by Tommy, especially given that Djokovic had a slightly easier and shorter earlier match than did Tommy. I just hope Tommy has enough time to recover from that grueling day before he plays in Cincinnati - or that he will take the week off to be sure he is rested and in good shape for the US Open.
I am disappointed that the US TV channels could not find a way to show us either match last night.
