It isnt better, is the correct thing to do, otherwise you are just an opportunist that is together with someone just because you are having fun with the partner in the meantime, just like a woman marrying someone because of the money or a guy getting out with a woman just because of the sex. If you arent ready to sacrifice something of yourself for another person you shouldnt date that other person. Rationality should covme over emotion, specially when you are influencing the life of another person.

Sometimes you do it for like once or twice, but when this becomes your relationship life you should start questioning yourself if you arent jumping the start gun before entering a relationship.
