when i was dragged from bed i had to make breakfast, then had to make shopping, then added 1 news on TA, then napped for half an hour cos i was fading (this weather kills me), then i washed the floor and made the dinner, then ate the dinner
and ACC voting was over
so i just voted for silverwhite in the TF popcon

when i saw some of the wtf final i recalled why fed used to be my favourite player from the top, some great shots, too bad he's not able to deliver it on daily basis

even in that final he choked like a mug

That ill-intended This is Australia thread was removed. Have to ask though. Why are threads here being deleted, instead of just closed? It should have remained there closed, so people in the future would know what not to do ever again.

I understand your line of thinking, but once a thread disappears from page 1, and is impossible to bump, it's not going to remind anyone of anything. To make it sticky does not look tempting....

An alternative could be to make a "Closed threads"-subforum, and move all such threads there, plus block this subforum for posting. But I am sure the mods have considered this long ago, so when it hasn't happened there's bound to be a reason for it.

Yeah, but even without being top page, one can remember posting something there and use a quote from that thread in a newer thread. Once deleted though, it's good bye. And no, definitely not make it sticky or make a close threads section. Just keep it there, so people can fully remember posting in both good and bad threads made on the forum. For instance, that straight white male thread just closed would have been pretty handy in a "Everything you say can be used against you" situation.
