Does anybody know when the players get their prize money for a tournament?
The day they bow out? The day after they lose? The Monday after tournamnet finishes? Days or weeks after a tournament finishes?
I don't mean appearance fees, that's different money.

Well if it was Bucharest in the old days then never.
They have an office at the tournaments, once they lose they go into the pay office then it's deposited into the bank account which they have set up with the local taxes taken out.

So, after they lose, they can go to the office and have a bank transfer arranged and have the money on their account the same day or day after. That's cool, especially for the lower ranked guys. |

ATP are the ones who play the players now, but at the Slams there is the office which handles all that.
Yes, Don Tiriac stiffed some of the early winners of the Bucharest event cause he is a crook and therefore the ATP pays them now.
