Phelps havent look fast soo far in these meets, only 4th fastest for the 200 Fly(could there be an upset brewing,Michael going for an unprecendent 3 gold medals in a row in this event and again it hasnt been done but i guess if there was one man that could turn up the tap is Michael Phelps! His starts arent the same as it was 4yrs back and the after burners arent revving as high when needed!I think he stays close in the 1st 100m then the third leg he makes his move and nobody can catch him when he takes the lead going into the final 50!

Michael Phelps to win 200m Fly 1.70 - History to be made by the phenomenon!

Muffat 4.00 to win 200m Free - Bronte Barrat 8.00 qualified fastest, insane! She dropped more then 2 secs off in the semi after the 1st heat but it would be unheard of is she could produce the goods! The French girl was another big imrover slashing more then 2 secs off her heat swim aswell!

GL -Missile has balloned to 1.85 while the French Flyer is only 2.15 now, wow! As BG mentioned Shiwen is now 1.03 close from the 1.01 he predicted!

Hersey 3.75 to win 200m Butterfly- American lass looked strong from start to finish n plenty of reserves in her heat!Jiao looked good in the back end but may leave it too late if she gives Hershey too much of a big start might be her downfall!By the end of the semi the American could possibly be equal fav or around 2.10/2.20 imo!Definetely think it's between these 2 swimmers!

GL -100 m Free has more twist n turns, ups n downs then a roller coaster!Should be a very interesting semi heat but it sure looks like more then a 2 man field then the odds suggested b4!Massive odds for some outsiders who did well in the heat with the Dutch man Verschuten 34.00 and Louw 81.00 who went faster then the Missile! The more time goes past the more I think James doesn't have what it takes, you can't turn the switch on and off in these events but still fingers crossed! The odds could take another 360 hammering with the unpredictability of this event!

Yes. It is a kind of national sport in Germany. Normally, I would also predict a German win in Team Dressage (we've won it seven times in a row), but we are sending a very inexperienced team this year. A silver or bronze medal behind the Netherlands and/or Great Britain seems more likely to me.

Made a small bet on Sideris Tasiadis to win a medal in the canoe slalom @ 3.25. He looked very good in the heats.

The Missile back on track(yeah baby),cmon champ you can do it!Adrian 8.00 is abit of a worry, more so then Yannick!Ideal trifecta would be Missile/Yannick/Adrian as odds suggest but i think Adrian will beat Yannick n hopefully go down to the Missile!

Jamieson 2.85 to win 200m Breast stroke - Possibly Brits 1st gold medal, strong semi heat and look like he could go another 50!Gyurta was puffing in the end while the Brit made it look like a warm up and with the mad crowd could have the energy to bring it home!

Lohte 1.50 to win 200m Medley/USA Mens 1.50 to win 4 by 100m Medley!

Hannes Aigner to win a medal in Kayak Slalom @ 3.25. He too looked very good in the heats so far.

And a long term bet:

Brazil to win the gold medal in Men's Volleyball @ 2.85

the American pulls a bunny out of the hat in a boilover with these events you never know and it might come down to a touch in it!Rather get something back then look like a fool!Would love to see the Missile do some damage but nothing is guaranteed! It is his time but there is soo much expectation on him n himself to deliver!I'm very nervous and i'm sure he is even more soo, fingers double crossed(God give him strength n speed, amen)!
