Will Nadal or Djokovic reach 200+ weeks as no.1 in their careers?
What do you think? Will any of the mentioned duo do it? More, will any of them ever endanger Roger's ongoing record?

ROGER FEDERER: No, Roger Federer doesn't pull out. Otherwise he doesn't walk on court (smiling).
After losing to Nalbandian in 2005 TMC final...

LOL. No. They will have a shot at being a number 1 for the next 2 years, and then adios amigos.

Re: Will Nadal or Djokovic reach 200+ weeks as no.1 in their careers?
IMO they will end up with a similar amount of weeks, but I really doubt either will get over 200. But honestly, wrong time to ask. We don't know that what has transpired the past month or so is a sign of things to come or just an anomoly. This will be a much better question after the US Open is over. There we will be able to see if Rafa is truly struggling off clay and if Djokovic has somewhat reverted back to his old self because this certainly isn't 2011 Novak.

The USO 2012 will answer a lot of these questions. My guess is the they will cancel each other out with Nole sweeping the hard court slams and Rafa doing the same on natural surfaces (though we do need to do something about this Rosol guy...).

Nole is ok- but I think no.

Re: Will Nadal or Djokovic reach 200+ weeks as no.1 in their careers?
For Nadal, I think the ship has sailed. He looks to me to be declining. Even if not, it would be a surprise if he managed as many weeks post-26 as pre-26. Can't remember any significant #1 doing that except Agassi and his excuse was unusual and his total was lower.
Djokovic would also have to amass at least as many weeks post-26 as pre-26, so it looks unlikely. But if I was told one of them was going to do it my money would be on him.

Well, they are still young, and I don't see anyone currently able to challenge them from the new generation, so who knows?
Maybe one of them will do it.

Probably not, but far from impossible.

Re: Will Nadal or Djokovic reach 200+ weeks as no.1 in their careers?
The have the next 3/4 years to dominate
So lets both dominate 2 years of the 4
That 104 weeks
Rafa will then reach 200+ weeks but Nole will only come close

Looking at the younger generation, it maybe easier than people thought. IMO, one will eventually reach and one 'll be close.
