yeah, fed also tanked those 2 uso semifinals against djokovic, cause he already won enough uso's and decided to give djokovic a chance to win his 1st uso title.

Not quite. Nadal tanked Madrid because the surface was dangerous and slippery. Djoker and many other lower ranked players confirmed it. They both said they won't play it in 2013 if the blue clay stays.
Olderer didn't tank 2010/11 USO's because it's a grand slam event and one where he's had a lot of success, it would have been truly pointless to tank it.
