The Latvian Olympic committee asked our BMX champion to choose who should be our flagbearer in the closing ceremony so he went and asked Radevica to do it (she missed the bronze medal by 1cm). She was very surprised and touched, and she said it would be an honor

I am SO SO happy for Mexico!! Viva Mexico! What a victory. I loved them at the medal presentation. They were so funny about the bouquets.
And to think all but one of them plays for home teams. It was wonderful.
