Observations from the Olympics so far:
- Didn't see the opening ceremony (but I usually skip it - too long
). Apparently, the tv team (camera crew,...) on that was 100% Belgian. The cycling events: same. Quite a few other events: same.
(Hey, I can't gloat about our athletes (one medal so far, bronze
), so allow me something)
- I love the swimming, always have (not the diving. I skip the diving events...Although I'm hoping that Tom Daley gets no medal...I'm sick and tired of the hype around that guy).
One thing has struck me: a lot of the male swimmers have a big chin. Phelps being the prime example but many of them have. They nearly all have broad shoulders and a very strong neck which seems very logical, but the amount of male swimmers with an impressive chin is above average. Some make Jay Leno feel like he has a small chin, I bet.
(I wonder if La Fed missed his true calling
- I found myself rooting for France quite a bit. I'm starting to get worried about myself.
- Yesterday, I say Gary Lineker gloating about the UK having more medals than the Germans. Hmmmpff
In my newspaper, they said that the accommodation of the British athletes are the best (home advantage, fair enough) but the worst accommodation (near a building site and therefor, very noisy) is given to the Germans. I'm sensing a pattern.
Whom do I have to target for allowing a Fedtard to start a rafachat post-Wimbledon?
