I didn't take any holidays in the Summer I'd rather keep some weeks to go to some sunny place when it's getting shitty here

And actually we don't really talk of dropping a person like a hot potato, but more dropping a subject or an item. I guess you could say, I dropped Rafa like a hot potato, but it would seem awkward.

Belgium defeated Serbia in the lion's den. 0-3

They fought like a strong solid team. The first half hour was tough, very tough with Serbia coming at us with all guns blazing. Our goalkeeper had to save us more than once (luckily, he's good). But the Belgians held strong, withstood the gunfire and once the smoke lifted, they hit back, hard and professionally. Very proud of them. (granted, the last goal was offside but by then, the victory was virtually in the bag).

Next up, Scotland, in Belgium.

As the Scottish team is the next opponent, we had an eye on that result as well. When I checked the result, they were 0-1 up against Wales with about 15 minutes to go. They managed to eat 2 goals after that. I don't know if that's good news or bad for us. The Scots have, more than before, nothing to lose so I'm still expecting a tough match.

So yesterday, I was in Wallonia for a seminar. I was there early so I decided to get myself a coffee. The man working in that coffeebar was putting out tables, I told him that he was very optimistic given the weather predictions.

Me: Pardon?
Man: You're from Nantes, right?

- hmmpff, did he accuse me of being French?

My first thought: hey, my accent is good enough to be taken for a French person?
My second thought: hmmm, maybe the dialect from Nantes is ugly as hell.

Then I told him that I'm from Flanders after which he informed me how all Flemings are extremists while all Walloons are tolerant people.

You'll be proud to know that I let him rant and said nothing back.
