On the front page of my newspaper today, there's an article about the need for more golf courses in Belgium. Bunch of bandwagon jumpers.
Still can't be bothered about golf, to be honest.

Btw I read the mayor of Brussels wants to limit the number of births in Brussels.
It really was the best ever comeback in the history of the tournament, as far as I'm concerned--especially since Europe won on the road. The story here is that the United States squandered a sure-thing, but no one really disputes that the Europeans were clutch down the stretch. They did everything right.
I miss Rafa. I can live with him skipping the AO if it means he will definitely play during the clay season.

Bibbz!
I'm not too well informed but just methinks it would be a tad early to rule Rafa out of the AO. I saw there was some fuss about it but probably just the usual fuss.

Ferru probably just exhausted himself overplaying or got some virus. I wonder who'll play the DC final for Spain. They better give it to Berdych and Too-Sexy anyway.

No, Ferru hasn't ruled himself out from the DC final yet but he went back home and won't play Shanghai. I just meant it would probably not be wise to play the DC final, hope he's not as stubborn as Rafa.

Why? Because everybody will go all Ooooh, poor RogieGOAT , that's the only reason he got beaten so often because evil Nadal slowed down the play on purpose? Everybody who knows something about tennis and is not looking for excuses knows that's not exactly true...

Sad for Gael if it should come true but things happen.
Toni He talks too much sometimes but this time he didn't really say anything shocking or new.
Metis will be glad to know Toni said Nalby is the greatest talent but no fighter. Actually I should dedicate that to AJ. Does a NON-fighter get to a GS and DC final at all? Yes yes Hilde now I'll shut up.
P.S. The thread was hilarious btw, of what I read.

Nope, not because of that. Who takes The "Angel Rogie who singlehandedly tries to save tennis from the evil clutches of Demon Tio Toni, Godfather extraordinaire and puppetmaster to his nephew Rafael" Club serious?
But trying to read and understand what Toni has to say, independently from what the above Club tends to sell as facts, is not an easy thing. Esp. if you depend on translations.
It's just that Toni, IMO, doesn't have a clear way of talking. He tends to get really philosophical and seems to just let us listen in while he ponders out loud. It can get great quotes but it's very often not very clear. Too often, when Toni has given an interview, you see contradictory interpretations in the media and at times, we've seen Rafael Nadal having to correct those interpretations.

Anybody who knows sh#t about tennis can't be a fan of Rafa so that's certainly not a true statement
